Sportivate is a nationwide campaign that captures the excitement of sport and London 2012 by providing attractive, affordable and sustainable sporting opportunities for teenagers and young adults in the sport of their choice and guiding them into regular participation within their community.
Sportivate offers those who are not participating regularly in sport (or only for a limited amount of time) the opportunity to take part in 6 to 8 weeks of high quality coaching sessions and supports them to continue playing sport afterwards.
Are you 14–25 years-old and want to try a new sport? If so, Sportivate could be the programme for you.
What is it?
Aimed at children aged 4-7, these one hour sessions are designed to build water confidence in children safely. We will supply the wetsuits, buoyancy aids and the adventure.
Mini Splash starts at the water’s edge with some fun games to get children used to the water. Once we are ready we will set off on a journey of discovery in our smaller boats. On our way back we get into the water and play some fun games and splash around.
Everyone will need a towel, swimming costume and spare footwear.
