Rochdale Leisure Centre Indoor Bowls League - September 2017 to March 2018 Season
Fixtures have been produced for 19 teams and we have tried to give each team a mix of fixtures on each mat and times. We are going back to using mats 2, 3 and 4 as the match mats with mat 1 for practice.
The league season started on 18 September with matches to follow the fixture list. Mat 1 is nearest the entrance to the sports hall and again is the practice mat. At the start of each game ‘toss for the jack’. A maximum of 12 scoring ends to be played. Please do not run over your match times.
We only require one score card per match but it would be helpful if you would list the home and away teams to match the fixture list. Please hand completed score cards into reception.
At the end of the last session would teams please collect the measures and chalk sprays and put them into the tool box to help reduce them disappearing.
In order to keep the mats clean would all captains ensure that players do not wear outside shoes when playing.
The last league game is on 5 February 2018, this leave seven more Mondays until the end of March, we shall arrange a little ‘filler’ competition as we have done in previous years to complete the season.
