Link4Life are extremely pleased to offer their new Grounds Maintenance service. 

We have an excellent track record in grounds maintenance with more than 20 years’ combined experience.  We maintain pitches and playing surfaces for sport including football, rugby, cricket, golf, hockey, netball and basketball, along with gardens, hedges, trees, flower beds, footpaths and car parks.

We are fully-insured and a member of the Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG).

Services include:

  • Grass pitch maintenance – cutting, slitting, verti-draining, renovations and overseeding
  • Artificial turf pitches – drag brushing, seam repairs, chemical treatment, power brushing, deep cleaning and infill redistribution
  • Line marking for sports pitches
  • Hard play surfaces
  • Cricket square renovation
  • Fertiliser application
  • Weed treatment
  • Drainage
  • Gardens, banks, verges, hedges, shrubs, trees and flower beds
  • Snow clearance and gritting for footpaths and car parks

We maintain pitches, grounds, gardens, paths and car parks at venues including Rochdale Leisure Centre, Middleton Arena, Heywood Sports Village, Littleborough Sports Centre, Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre and Bowlee Park Sports Centre.

Our surplus funds are reinvested to support local leisure, health, education and cultural activities for people of all ages and abilities.  In recognition of our excellent community-focussed work, Link4Life received two national UK Street Games Awards in 2018.

Link4Life is a Charity with a volunteer Board of Trustees.  We were established by Rochdale Borough Council in 2007 and although we are completely independent of the Council, we still work very closely with its staff and members.
