Here you'll find out about Clubs in the borough of Rochdale. The borough is served by a fantastic range of organisations and clubs.

The information provided includes the club contact, email (where available) and phone numbers with a website link if provided.

Entries also indicate whether they are open to Juniors, Adults and people with disabilities as well as whether they have achieved formal accreditation such as Clubmark, Charter Standard or the Borough's equivalent Springboard.

Clubmark, Charter Standard or Springboard accreditation is awarded to proven high quality clubs that comply with minimum operating standards and have shown commitment to development and training.

Please note that information is supplied by the organisations themselves and is correct at the time of input. It is advisable to check details of opening times/training days etc. directly with them to avoid disappointment.

Sportivate launched in June 2011 as a four-year programme but, due to its success, additional funding of £10m per year has been invested allowing the programme to run until March 2017.

Link4Life is co-ordinating delivery of Sportivate in Rochdale Borough. To find out more or if you think your club, group or organisation can help get more 11 to 25 year olds active in Rochdale Borough, download the Sportivate Application Guidance PDF below. The guidance document and application form can also be found on the following webpage www.greatersport.co.uk/funding/sportivate.

The deadline for projects looking to deliver between October 2016 and March 2017 is the 1 July 2016.

If you are looking to run a Sportivate project before September 2016, we will only accept interim applications for projects working with inactive young people in one of the following groups: 19 to 25 year olds or females only (aged 11 to 25).
